Hiring an environmental architect

Paul McNally, an architect in Co. Cork, gives a great account of how to go about getting an environmental architect who has the experience as well as the theory. He references the courses we've given to ~600 architects in the RIAI as well as the 'Breaking the Mould' series of articles on retrofitting houses (particularly solid wall). Remember competence is key. Beware of designs that look great but don't reduce fuel bills or embed comfort and health as core features of the design. http://www.josephlittlearchitects.com/node/107/edit  http://pmnarchitecture.com/how-to-hire-an-architect/
